The beginning of the school year is always fulfilled with lots of excitement and expectations, and it wouldn’t be different for our Grade 1 students.
During our first week back to school, students had a lot of fun, explored the school environments, as well as were engaged in multiple learning contexts, like story telling.
They started the first day making a craft of The cat in the hat, a character which is going to be with the group throughout the year, helping it to learn from Dr. Seuss´ stories.
At last, they also sang new songs, danced, played outdoors, but the most important thing of all was that pupils started making connections, new friends, new relationships that, day by day, are going to strengthen bonds.
The children are super excited to live this year intensively!

Os primeiros dias no Grade 1
O início do ano letivo é sempre repleto de muita animação e expectativas e não seria diferente para nossos alunos do Grade 1.
Durante nossa primeira semana de aula os alunos se divertiram muito, exploraram os espaços da escola, assim como foram engajados em múltiplas propostas de aprendizagem, como o momento da história.
Eles iniciaram o primeiro dia fazendo uma arte inspirada no Gatola da Cartola, um personagem que estará com o grupo durante todo o ano, ajudando-o a aprender com as histórias de Dr. Seuss.
Por fim nós também cantamos músicas novas, dançamos, brincamos ao ar livre, mas o mais importante de tudo, os estudantes começaram a fazer conexões, novos amigos e grandes relações que, dia após dia, irão estreitar vínculos.
As crianças estão super animadas para viver este ano intensamente!
